~Rustic Buildings in Idaho~

I wanted to share with you some more photos of our trip to
 Ririe, Idaho.
The old buildings we saw had so much character and history.
We could just imagine what they looked like 100 years ago.
Taking a photograph made me feel I could stop time from the destruction taking place on the design of the church.
It was just beautiful.

Different shaped barns were everywhere.
Love the siding and ladder on this barn.

Most of the old barns we saw,
the roofs were almost gone.

Old ladders everywhere with plants growing around them.
It was so peaceful and quiet.

Just us and the land.
This was an old stagecoach stop.

They would switch out horses from Jackson to Idaho Falls.
Looking into the building you could just imagine the everyday excitement.

The roof inside was just spectacular!
It was definitely unforgettable!
~Wildlife Everywhere~

The land seemed to go on forever.

Loved the Idaho potatoes!
It was a wonderful trip!

    1. Deb, There are so many farms that have old barns that it is cheaper to just rebuild new ones. I just love seeing the old buildings, so much history...

  4. I loved seeing the beauty of these barns from your eyes! I would have just driven past them without a moments thought and what a shame that would be. I will always have to see the barns now, thank you!

    1. Gigi, Glad you enjoyed the photos. It's amazing what we can learn by driving in a car instead of flying. So many wonderful things in each state.

  7. Those scenes and buildings are surely a good representation of days gone by.
I should have liked to be in that old church, when voices were raised in hymn.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Happy Monday, hope it's stellar.

  8. Oh I love old buildings when we take road trips. That first stone building reminds me of a building
I was in love with in Kansas. The last time we visited there I was so excited to take pictures and
the owners had torn it down. They said they got tired of people topping to take photos. Isn't that
so very sad. The weathered wood on the other building is just beautiful.
